I often think we treat our planet as though it is disposable, as if another equally viable planet will come along to replace the home we're trashing.

This stop motion loop depicts this cavalier attitude towards the Earth by demonstrating gradual environmental destruction in two places I call home: New York City and Northern California. Once one area is destroyed, the human leaps to the next one and starts over.

I was inspired by the RetroViewer, a beloved childhood toy, in creating this animation.
